Silicone
Synthetic Ice of Canada suggests using a mixture of silicone and water, applying a thing layer by spray bottle to a synthetic ice surface about once a month. This will increase the glide of the ice surface, more closely replicating that of real ice.
Skates
Skates are available for rental along with our ice surfaces. Skates with straps are available and are transported in a protective case.
Boards
There are many different kinds of boards available for ice rentals and purchases. NHL-styled boards are most commonly requested, but there are other options if you are not interested in heavy plastic boards with attached glass, there are other options. Plastic boards can be installed fitting the perimeter of any surface.
Inflatable boards are an low maintenance alternative to plastic boards, but are much better for more advanced skaters.
