Synthetic Ice of Canada member of leprohon Group was incorporated in 2008 as a distributor of synthetic ice products. Since then, the company has added additional product lines such as refrigerated ice, Eco Ice, skating tracks, and ice skating accessories. The company’s goal is to continually research and find the best-quality products in the market, offering a total solution to any ice skating need.
Synthetic Ice of Canada is headquartered in the Sherbrooke area but has expanded operations globally. It also operates in several European countries such as Switzerland, Germany, and the Czech Republic, representing the growth of hockey and ice skating in Europe. Because of synthetic ice, countries in warmer regions of the globe, such as India and Asia, as well as in Central and South America, have been able to offer ice skating surfaces to their citizens for the first time.
